A quiet evening ride turned into catastrophe in seconds on State Road 218 near Berne, Indiana, when a Jeep struck the rear of a horse-drawn buggy carrying nine people. According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 11:20 p.m. on October 7, 2025.
