Authorities are investigating a case involving an elderly man who was found unresponsive in a local motel alongside a 24-year-old companion. The discovery was made after staff noticed that the guests had not checked out at the expected time and decided to perform a welfare check. Upon entering the room, employees immediately contacted emergency services after finding that the older man required medical attention. Paramedics arrived within minutes, but sadly, he could not be revived.
