BREAKING: A bus plunged into a ravine in Bolivia’s Potosí region, killing at least 30+ people and injuring others, after losing control on a mountainous road. Rescue operations are ongoing and authorities are investigating the cause.

State of Mexico.—On Wednesday, November 20, a serious multiple-vehicle collision occurred on the Mexico–Querétaro Highway at kilometer 059+000, within the municipality of Huehuetoca, State of Mexico. The accident quickly drew attention due to its scale and its impact on one of the country’s busiest highways. According to preliminary reports, the incident involved a heavy trailer that was unable to stop in time and ended up crashing into several vehicles traveling along the same route. The force of the collision caused the trailer to lose control and block all three north-to-south lanes, resulting in a partial closure of the highway. Traffic in the area was significantly disrupted, with long lines of vehicles forming as authorities worked to manage the situation. Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes while emergency crews responded. Although the crash was alarming in size and impact, early information suggested that the consequences, while disruptive, were less severe than initially feared.
