Dan Scavino, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, stated that the group prayed for Trump in light of the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict
A bizarre video has gone viral on the internet showing a group of pastors flocking around Donald Trump.
As per White House staff, the group of religious leaders had been invited to the Oval Office personally to pray for the Republican frontman, after he kick-started a ‘massive’ missile exchange with Iran.
Joined with Israeli leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump fired US missiles at the country’s capital on Saturday (28 Feb), killing its Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The pair attributed the controversial strike to putting an end to the Iranian government’s increasingly totalitarian regime against its people, as well as making sure the Middle Eastern nation ‘does not obtain a nuclear weapon’.
Responding, new Iranian officials fired weapons of their own in the direction of US-Israeli troops based in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Cyprus.

After firing the first drone, Trump told ABC News journalist Jonathan Karl he ‘got’ Khamenei, ‘before he got me’, as per the New York Post.
In spite of his claim, MAGA supporters have since been troubled by the prospect of the President’s attack placing a fresh new target on his back.
And by inviting a pack of preachers down to his presidential residence, it looks as though Trump might be harbouring the same concerns.
In a video that has since spread on social media, the pastors are seen gathering around the 79-year-old, placing their hands on and around his head, shoulders and chest.
Per Deputy Chief of Staff, Dan Scavino, the group were praying for both Trump and the wider US in light of the ongoing conflict.
“Happening Now in the Oval Office at the @WhiteHouse,” Scavino tweeted. “God Bless the USA!”
