She educated, organized, and showed people that illness could steal so much, but not dignity, not purpose, not the right to be seen.At home, she was simply “Mom,” wrapping her children in a love that refused to be dimmed by pain. They watched her fight, but they also watched her laugh, nurture, and show up in the smallest, quietest ways.
