Authorities have released body camera footage from a traffic stop in San Marcos that escalated into a fatal deputy-involved shooting earlier this year.
The incident occurred on February 18 and involved deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office. According to investigators, deputies initially stopped a vehicle after noticing irregularities that raised suspicion about the car.
